Prior to and after making reservation at Birdwing Spa,
guests are curious and have numerous
questions. Hopefully the Q/A that follows
will assist you. If not, please contact

What should I bring to the spa?
Pack light! Birdwing provides all meals,
linens, robes, exercise equipment, and
entertainment! You may want to bring:
• Toiletries
• Sunglasses
• Exercise
Clothes
• Water
Bottle
• Tennis
Shoes
• Hiking
Shoes/Boots
• Swimsuit
• Binoculars
• Camera
• Books
What time is check-in and check-out?
Unless otherwise noted, spa check in time
is 7:00pm and check out at 4:00pm. Please
refer to your package on the spa
packages page.
Can I purchase additional spa services?
Yes! Additional spa
services are available at a la carte
prices for all packages. To ensure availability,
guests should schedule spa services in advance
by indicating choices on the registration
forms. Upon arrival, spa services are available
on a first come basis and only if time
and space permit.
Where is Birdwing Spa located?
Birdwing Spa is located in central Minnesota,
approximately 70 miles (1.5 hours) west
of the Minneapolis/St.Paul metropolitan
area. Litchfield
is the closest town, a short 6 miles northeast
of the spa. Highway 7 or 12 west out of
the Twin Cities Metropolitan area are
the recommended routes. Please refer to

Are Birdwing Spa gift certificates available?
Yes, spa gift certificates are available for
all packages.
What type of payment methods are accepted?
Visa, American Express and Mastercard are accepted in addition
to travelers checks, personal checks,
and cash.
How do I make a reservation at Birdwing Spa?
To make a spa reservation, contact us directly
via telephone. A credit card is required
for a deposit of $100-300 per person,
which will be charged immediately. Upon
credit approval, a registration form and
receipt of deposit will be sent to you
for your confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy at Birdwing Spa?
The entire deposit will be refunded if
the spa is notified at least 60 days prior
to the scheduled arrival date. If circumstances
necessitate a cancellation within the
60-day timeframe, the deposit is transferable
but non-refundable. Deposit transfers
can be used for any reschedule date for
a transaction fee of $50.00. However,
due to the nature of our business, we
can allow only one reschedule date. If
circumstances necessitate a second cancellation,
the deposit is forfeited.
Is transportation available from the
airport to Birdwing Spa?
Yes, with advanced arrangements, roundtrip
transportation is available from the Minneapolis-St.
Paul International Airport for $115.
A member of Birdwing Spa's staff will greet
guests at the flight's baggage claim area
and provide transportation to the spa. |
